Mr. Adu holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree from the Business School at Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Diploma in Insurance, Risk Management and Marketing Option from the West African Insurance Institute. He has attended various training programs on Insurance Underwriting on Various Insurance Products including Motor, Property, Oil and Gas, Life and Health Insurances.

He has excellent knowledge in the Sales and Marketing of Insurance Products. Mr. Adu is very experienced in the underwriting of Motor Insurance and Claims having attended various training programs both locally and internationally. He was a member of the team that reviewed the benefits under the current motor insurance cover on the Ghanaian market. Mr. Adu is currently the President of the Ghana Insurance Brokers Association (GIBA) and also first Chairman of GIBA Energy. He has over 30 years of insurance experience.

As the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Adu is in charge of providing overall strategic guidance, developing, implementing, monitoring metrics, managing the company’s resources. He also provides the overall strategic guidance and report to the board of directors. He in addition, co-ordinates the activities of the various branches and departments to the realization of the total goal of the company.
